
Anne Dryburgh
After graduating from the École supérieure de ballet du Québec in 1987, Anne Dryburgh joined Ballet British Colombia. For six seasons, she performed works by George Balanchine, William Forsythe and Paul Taylor, among others. In 1993, she danced for the Ottawa Ballet Company.
Back in Montreal, she danced for Ballet Ouest, Opéra de Montréal and in the musical Demain matin, Montréal m'attend, choreographed by Jean Grand-Maître and directed by Denise Filiatrault. In 2001, she took to the stage with the White Oak Project, directed by Mikhail Baryshnikov.
At the same time, since 1992, she has been working as an actress in theater and film. Her credits include Art of War, starring Wesley Snipes, and La vie d'un héros, directed by Micheline Lanctôt.
In 2008, she graduated with honors from the Université de Québec à Montréal with a Master's degree in dance, and in 2016 with a Master's degree in arts education.
Grants from the Canada Council for the Arts enable her to further her training as a teacher.
In 2019, she will perform the role of the Mother with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens in their production of Giselle, and in 2022 the role of the Queen in Sleeping Beauty.

Anne Dryburgh has been teaching in the École supérieure's professional program since 2004, and is responsible for recruitment.
