Geneviève Guérard

Trained at the École supérieure de ballet du Québec, Geneviève Guérard joined Les Grands Ballets Canadiens in 1992, before being promoted to principal dancer in 1998. After devoting some twenty years to dance with exceptional passion and talent, she left the company in 2006.

Geneviève first came to public attention on television, notably as a permanent analyst for four seasons on Match of the Stars, where her humor and wit won over many viewers. She also hosted the ARTV series Voulez-vous danser, and appeared as a columnist on several cultural programs.

A yoga enthusiast, she also co-founded the yoga and Pilates studio STUDIO MILE END in 2013.
