The dance community is crying out for help. As the Regroupement québécois de la danse (RQD) celebrates its 40th anniversary, several leading figures in the sector are speaking out against the underfunding with which the sector has to contend, resulting in precarious working conditions for artists and heartbreaking programming choices, among other things.

The artistic director of the École supérieure de ballet du Québec, Anik Bissonnette, also a former president of the RQD, pleads for the cause of dance and our institution.
