Special ballet class for our alumni - Nutcracker theme

The École supérieure de ballet du Québec is delighted to invite alumni of all generations to a unique and convivial ballet class on the theme of The Nutcracker, whose 60th anniversary is being celebrated this year.

Inspired by Fernand Nault's iconic choreography, this class will honor the music and characters from The Nutcracker. It's also the perfect opportunity for a warm reunion! Barre and center exercises will be demonstrated by members of our teaching team, including Anik Bissonnette and Anne Dryburgh, as well as surprise guests. There's no pressure to perform, and everyone is free to leave the class at any time.

Refreshments and pastries will be served to prolong the discussions and share memories and anecdotes.

Over the past six decades, many of our students have danced this legendary work on the Place des Arts stage! This event is open to all former students of the École supérieure and its affiliated schools (Pierre-Laporte, Académie des Grands Ballets, etc.).
