Alexia De Macar

A nutritionist and doctor in sports nutrition since 2005, Alexia has been working in a number of high-level sporting and artistic environments for almost 20 years. Thanks to her extensive experience in the field, she understands the specific issues linked to performance and disciplines that must take into account an aesthetic dimension.

In addition to acting as nutrition consultant to the École supérieure de ballet du Québec, Alexia teaches at all levels of the professional program and gives cooking workshops to students. She also works with Cirque du Soleil, the Institut National du Sport du Québec, several national sports federations and professional artists.

Recognized for her ability to synthesize and popularize, her presentations are practical, realistic and based on scientific advances. An experienced and dynamic speaker, Alexia is regularly invited to give presentations at sporting and scientific events.

Angela has also developed considerable expertise in the management of eating disorders in high-level athletes and artists, as well as with those who have a difficult relationship with food. With her colleague Jodie Richardson Ph.D. psychologist, she is co-founder of Dare to Fuel Performance.
