Angela Malorni

Angela Malorni holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Concordia University and a Master's degree in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa, specializing in intervention and consultation in sport, physical activity and health.

A member of the Canadian Sport Psychology Association, Angela has been a mental performance consultant for 14 years. She has been part of the ESBQ health team since 2018. Her passion, energy and commitment are contagious! She accompanies students via individual meetings and group workshops. The interactive workshops she develops aim to offer concrete ideas that can be applied both in their performance and in all other aspects of their lives. She also supports the teaching team.

An international medal-winning athlete and member of Skate Canada's National Team, her level of understanding and compassion for young high performance athletes enables her to fully appreciate their reality, their goals and the pressures they may sometimes face. Angela is dedicated to helping them discover and develop their mental skills, equipping them to navigate their challenges with compassion, curiosity and a spirit of learning, with the aim of improving their performance and well-being. Her mission is to provide them with the tools they need to approach challenging prospects with productive thinking, while fostering the development of their own definition of success.

Angela is still very active in Canadian synchronized skating as a coach, choreographer and mental performance consultant. In addition to coaching athletes from various national teams, including several at Olympic level, as well as numerous internationally renowned artists including Cirque du Soleil, she has chosen to work with developing athletes and artists, because she fundamentally believes that, just like technical skills, mental skills developed at an early age can truly change the trajectory of a life.

La devise d'Angela: It’s not about being perfect, it’s about being awesome!
