Nathalie Gérard

Nathalie has been in charge of health and well-being at the École supérieure de ballet du Québec since 2011. She also teaches in the Junior and Intermediate cycles of the professional program. Since 2023, she has been a member of the Board of Directors of Healthy Dancer Canada and active on the Continuing Education committee. She also sits on ADÉSAQ's mental health issue table.

After completing professional training in dance interpretation at the École supérieure, Nathalie went on to study art history at the Université de Montréal up to the master's level, where she specialized in the interrelationship between different art forms. She also holds a Diplôme d'études supérieures en enseignement de la danse classique, and is certified in Progressive Ballet Technique.

Over the years, based on research, Nathalie has developed a unique program that focuses on the overall health of young dancers, both physically and psychologically. The program focuses on prevention, education, rapid treatment, professional support, adaptability and communication.
