Sylvie Normandin
Sylvie began her dance studies at a very young age at Mrs. Thérèse Ménard's School of Classical Ballet and then continued them at the School of Les Grands Ballets Canadiens where she later joined the company.
To perfect her training she enrolled at the Royal Academy of Dance in London where she graduated in 1977. Then she became a dancer-teacher-choreographer and worked both on stage and on television.
In addition to classical dance, she also danced jazz with Eva von Genczy and du Fosse in New York.
Sylvie teaches both classical and jazz in several schools in and around Montreal, including the theater option at Collège Lionel-Groulx, as well as across Canada and the United States. She continues to enjoy teaching and choreographing.
